Adventist History: Expansion of the Adventist Church Around the Globe

16 Aug 2023

This week in Adventist history, we celebrate the expansion of the Adventist Church in different regions and ways around the world.

On August 13, 1887, 14 converts were baptized in Zurich, Switzerland. That same afternoon, a church of 17 members was organized.

Michael Younker tells us more about this story on This Week in Adventist History. Visit https://encyclopedia.adventist.org/ for more Adventist stories and events.

Established in 1863, the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a global Christian family with over 21 million members who hold the Bible as the ultimate authority. We are believers who help people understand the Bible to find freedom, healing, and hope in Jesus.
