Adventist History: First Adventist Martyr to a Sunday Law (and other stories)

This week in Adventist history, Samuel Mitchell becomes the first Adventist martyr to a Sunday law. Arrested in July 1878 for plowing in his field on a Sunday, Mitchell struggled with poor health. He could not endure the prison cell and became ill during his 30-day sentence.
